Soma

Soma is the brand name for a drug called Carisoprodol. This drug is also known as DAN's, D's, Dance, and DAN5513. It is a muscle relaxant and is used with rest, physical therapy, and other measures to relax muscles and relieve pain and discomfort caused by strains, sprains, and other muscle injuries.
What does it look like?
Soma comes as a tablet to take by mouth.

What side effects can this medication cause?

  • drowsiness
  • dizziness
  • clumsiness
  • headache
  • fast heart rate
  • upset stomach
  • vomiting
  • skin rash

If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:

  • difficulty breathing
  • fever
  • weakness
  • burning in the eyes

Symptoms of Soma overdose may include:

  • breathing difficulty
  • coma
  • shock
  • stupor
